USES :- Ethinylestradiol is used to treat the deficiency of female sex hormone and associated risk of bone loss and fractures in post-menopausal women. In menstruating women, it is used for the treatment of menstrual disorders. It is also used as a hormone replacement therapy to treat young women with underdeveloped ovaries (failure of ovarian development). Ethinylestradiol is even used in men for treating prostate cancer & Levonorgestrel, is an emergency hormonal contraceptive used to help prevent a pregnancy when taken within 72 hours (3 days) of having had unprotected sex or if usual method of contraception has failed. It is also available as a T-shaped intrauterine delivery system (IUD) which is used for the prevention of pregnancy (contraception) for up to three years.

WORKS :-Ethinylestradiol belongs to a class of medications called estrogens (female hormones). It is a synthetic form of the naturally occurring hormone and helps in development and maintenance of menstrual cycle. In post-menopausal women, it works by reducing the post-menopausal symptoms and risk of weakening bones and bone fracture. & Stopping ovaries from releasing an egg. Preventing sperm from fertilizing any egg that may have already released. Stopping a fertilized egg from attaching itself to womb lining.

How to take:

1 Tablet to be taken from the first day of Menstrual cycle for 21 days, followed by 7 days without taking the tablet.
