Mometasone Uses –
Mometasone topical is used to treat symptoms of allergic rhinitis (hay fever), perennial rhinitis (symptoms lasting almost a year) and nasal polyps (fleshy swelling inside the nose). It is used to treat inflammation and various skin conditions like eczema (inflammation and blistering on skin in patches causing redness and bleeding), psoriasis (red, itchy, scaly patches on skin), and dermatitis (redness and swelling of skin due to allergy).

Mometasone works –
Mometasone belongs to a class of medications called as corticosteroids. It works by blocking the release of inflammatory mediators called cytokines thereby relieving inflammation, swelling and itching.

Side effects:-Headache, fever, cold, pain sometimes.

Food restrictions: Avoid consuming any food that is allergic to the content of this item, avoid alcohol with the usage of the item. If item application/consumption makes you feel uneasy then stop the usage of the item immediately.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place away from the reach of children. – Item must not be used past the expiry date.

Usage of other items:

Sometimes items usage are not safe when you use them with certain other items and food. So taking them together can cause bad side effects. – Be sure to talk to your doctor about all the items you use.

If dose missed: Take a missed dose as soon as you think about it. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses. Do not change the dose or stop this drug. Talk with the doctor always for any clarification.
