MELACARE FORTE CREAM  USES –

Hydroquinone Topical – Hydroquinone topical is used to lighten the skin that has become dark due to melasma (skin darkening due to sunlight exposure), freckles (dark spots on cheeks, nose, arms, and upper shoulders that appears at a very young age) and solar lentigines (‘age spots’ – brown or black spots on face, hands, shoulders and arms due to exposure to sun light).

Mometasone Topical – Mometasone topical is used to treat symptoms of allergic rhinitis (hay fever), perennial rhinitis (symptoms lasting almost a year) and nasal polyps (fleshy swelling inside the nose). It is used to treat inflammation and various skin conditions like eczema (inflammation and blistering on skin in patches causing redness and bleeding), psoriasis (red, itchy, scaly patches on skin), and dermatitis (redness and swelling of skin due to allergy).

Tretinoin Topical – Tretinoin is topically used to treat acne (pimples), rough texture of facial skin, reduce the appearance of fine wrinkles and mottled skin discoloration

Hydroquinone Topical – Hydroquinone belongs to class of medications called as melanin synthesis inhibitors. It bleaches the skin by reducing the accumulation of skin pigment called melanin that causes darkening of skin.

Mometasone Topical – Mometasone belongs to a class of medications called as corticosteroids. It works by blocking the release of inflammatory mediators called cytokines thereby relieving inflammation, swelling and itching.

Tretinoin Topical – Tretinoin is a form of vitamin A and belongs to a group of medications called as retinoids. It helps the skin to renew itself (causing peeling) and prevents skin inflammation.
